St Vincent's, Lismore are seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses with experience in the following
- Day Surgery
- Recovery
- Anaesthetics
This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, efficiency, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team — all without night duty.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative and post-operative nursing care in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care to day surgery and short stay patients
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑operative patient assessments and provide education
- Monitor patient recovery and escalate clinical concerns as required
- Collaborate effectively with medical, anaesthetic, and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and standards
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Day Surgery, PACU, Short Stay, Surgical or Acute Care (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-turnover environment
- A commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork
- Must have full, permanent work rights, such as Australian citizenship or permanent residency
