This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, efficiency, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team — all without night duty.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative and post-operative nursing care in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence‑based nursing care to day surgery and short stay patients
  • Conduct pre‑ and post‑operative patient assessments and provide education
  • Monitor patient recovery and escalate clinical concerns as required
  • Collaborate effectively with medical, anaesthetic, and allied health teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and standards

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in Day Surgery, PACU, Short Stay, Surgical or Acute Care (preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-turnover environment
  • A commitment to patient safety, quality care, and teamwork
  • Must have full, permanent work rights, such as Australian citizenship or permanent residency
